GDW — User manual¶
Welcome to the user manual of GDW (Gabion Design Wall), the GeoStru software for the design and verification of check dams and transverse structures made of gabions or concrete. GDW performs the hydraulic check (spillway, stilling basin, drainage pipes, piping), the global equilibrium check, the analysis of external loads and seismic action, and the calculation of the foundation micropiles (vertical and horizontal bearing capacity, action distribution, yield moment), generating the calculation report.
